Management Planner Course
Asbestos Management Planner Course -Two Days (16 Hours)
This EPS/DSHS approved course is for management planners and other professionals who determine appropriate response actions, assess ACM hazards, develop operations and maintenance programs, and develop schedules for response action implementation. A photo identification card and a certificate of completion are presented to each person who successfully completes the course. Asbestos Training for Building Inspectors is a prerequisite for his course.

Course Requirements \ Information
Certification: Asbestos Management Planner
Course Fee: $399 Per Student
Duration: 16 Hours
Education / Experience Required: bachelor’s degree in engineering, architecture or a related profession +1 yr. exp. in building construction and design or a related field; OR 4 yrs. exp. in building construction and design or a related field. Participants may register for the Management Planner Course if they are enrolled in the Inspector Course or have previously completed the Inspector Course and submit a valid certificate as proof of successful completion when enrolling.
State Examination: Yes
Function / Duty: Comply with the standards of the TELRR, including EPA and OSHA regulations; notify DSHS of impending abatement projects; supply and train employees in use of PPE and supervise compliance; ensure each employee is certified and has a DSHS ID card & gov’t. issued photo.
Conditions / Restrictions: Must ensure that only certified persons perform target housing and child- occupied facilities.
